House of the Rising Sun

House of the Rising Sun, or HotRS, is a 25 man raiding guild on the server of Moon Guard, we fight for the Horde, for the lewts, and for the lulz. We were first formed as a 10 man raiding guild towards the end of Burning Crusade by Jazgulak and Mortrisha, both who have since retired from WoW and passed leadership on to Rokya. The guild name is both inspired and entitled after by song covered by The Animals and among other artists. With the arrival of WotLK we exploded into a full 25 man raiding guild, and joined our place amongst the top raiding guilds on this server, clearing all WotLK content upon initial release and intend to continue this trend all the way up to Icecrown.

Major guild decisions are made based on the majority rule of our officers ( Rokafella, Harima, Aestiah, Genasis, Ralein, & Levyn ) -- however, most issues that the guild encounters are normally brought before the entire guild where they are discussed until the Guild Officers can agree on a proper course of action.
